Mystic Jaisalmer Featured in National Geographic Traveller India

A Moment of Gratitude
We are deeply honoured to share that Mystic Jaisalmer was recently featured in National Geographic Traveller India, in a feature exploring authentic, community-rooted desert experiences in Rajasthan.
What the Article Highlighted
The feature focused on what has been our philosophy since the beginning — that the desert is not a backdrop for a photo, but a living, breathing landscape with stories to tell. The article highlighted several aspects of our work:
- Our commitment to non-touristic routes that keep the desert wild and uncrowded
- The role of local Manganiyar folk musicians in our campfire evenings
- Our partnerships with village families near Kuldhara and Barna
- The Billion Star Experience — our signature overnight camel safari
Eighteen Years of Staying True
It would have been easy, over eighteen years, to scale up — to build a mega-camp, to mass-produce the experience, to chase volume. We chose a different path. We chose to stay small, stay personal, and stay true to the desert that first called to us.
"What you seek is seeking you." — Rumi
This feature is not just a feather in our cap. It is a reminder that when you stay true to your values, the world finds you.
